A bold take on Northwest Modern, La Cresta was in many ways a leap of faith. The homeowners were ready to move back to the Spokane area in 2020, however the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted all aspects of travel, real estate, and construction, creating what might have been insurmountable hurdles to their dream. In spite of this, they purchased this lot from the other side of the county over Facetime and hired Copeland to provide design-build services, trusting in our experience and continuity to simplify the process, even it it was all managed via Zoom. The owners experienced the site for the first time when the house was already completely framed, but it was as they imagined thanks to the extensive 3D modeling used throughout the design process.
