Gerry Copeland, AIA – Company Founder
Gerry’s study of architecture began prior to his first formal training at the University of Washington. He learned the details of residential construction while working as an apprentice carpenter in Colfax, WA and then learned about design from the prominent residential architects, Ralph Anderson and A.O. Bumgardner in their offices in Seattle. Gerry has travelled the world in the search for inspiring architecture, beginning with six months in Europe after college, two years in India with the Peace Corps and subsequent trips to Nepal, Bhutan, India, Thailand, Greece, and more. Since 1984, Gerry has focused on custom residential design/build in the Spokane area and also in Hawaii, Alaska and Idaho. Outside of the architectural scene, Gerry enjoys riding his horse, backpacking, tennis, and music.

Bob Britton – President
In 1982, Bob changed his life course from engineering to construction to follow his grandfather’s trade as a home builder. In the past 25 years, Bob has honed his skills as a construction manager for both commercial and residential projects, large and small. During the last 10 years on the Copeland team, he has enjoyed the start of each new project sharing in the dreams of clients, helping them through the process and ultimately handing them the keys to their new home or office. Along with his wife of 25 years, he relaxes by taking extended hiking trips, even longer cycling trips, and keeps a season pass at his favorite ski hill.
