The Copeland Philosophy.
We consider every project an opportunity for our clients to participate in a unique and artful design process. Each of our clients has a distinguishing set of circumstances by bringing a new building site, budget and individual style to establish the criteria for a project. Through these unique criteria, we are able to provide each client a specific solution demonstrating our dedication to our client’s vision.

The Copeland Process.
We understand that sometimes clients have been through the process of designing and building a home or office building, but many times they have not. We can offer assistance to any client from the very beginning of the process, including the evaluation of a site to purchase, as well as discussing potential locations to build on the site.  During the design process, we can help clients visualize their project on the site through physical scale models or computer renderings to help better understand more complex interior spaces or consider different finishes and colors.

Our years of experience can help clients navigate the many decisions and selections that need to be made during design, assuring that the process is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  Additionally, we consult with many of our key subcontractors on each project, resulting in continuity from early planning stages to the finishing touches, achieving unique solutions and higher quality throughout the project. Also, because we have years of experience in construction, we are intimately aware of the costs involved and can use this knowledge throughout the process to maximize value and minimize surprises.

Our Values
At Copeland, we feel strongly about supporting the health of our clients, our communities, and our planet. That is why we incorporate sustainable initiatives into every project we do. From reducing the amount of waste leaving a jobsite to minimizing the amount of energy required to heat a home, there are many ways to lessen the impact of new construction on the environment. We are continually researching the best products, systems, and strategies available to provide you with sound, up-to-date, and regionally appropriate recommendations.
