So much of life is about taking the path less traveled or trying something new just to see how it fits. Throughout the project, this chapter has taken many side ventures along the way allowing for both the client and our company to challenge ourselves with new materials and techniques that make the final solution unique in every aspect. Most prominent in this case, we were the first in Spokane to utilize an exterior panel system from Trespa ®. Not only does it provide a durable, fade-resistant finish, but it truly gave us a contemporary feel to match the character of the house and compliment the natural stone and wood.

In addition to our recurrent desire to build subtly within the context of the site, it is always tempting to insert a bold entry progression. Here, simple courtyard walls with the appropriate landscaping coupled with colorful artwork and the natural wood accents, the approach to this house is very alluring, especially at dusk. At 3358 finished square feet including three bedrooms and an office, the house is very comfortable, inside and out, just exactly how you want to feel at the end of a good journey.
