The composition of exterior forms gives this house many unique interior spaces and a very open and comfortable feeling. At just over 2800 square feet, this contemporary home combines the open-plan concept of living-dining-kitchen with a main floor master bedroom, two upstairs bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and a home office/guest bedroom which also serves as the TV room. On the exterior, we used stained channel cedar siding and ground-face masonry block complimented with a darker metal roof and metal clad windows. Inside, we chose timeless materials including stone and wood flooring, natural wood cabinets and doors and wool carpeting. The exposed roof beams support the structural insulated panels (SIPS) providing a slim and very efficient roof system.
